How We Review Supplements
Every review on this site follows the same process. We use the same criteria to analyze each product, regardless of the formula, the category, or the company behind it.
We start with the manufacturer's own claims
We don't just analyze the advertising. We look to understand exactly what the company claims about the product, how it explains the formula, what benefits it presents, what it says in the FAQ, and what conditions appear in the offer terms. When the marketing message seems different from the detailed product explanation, we highlight that difference. Our goal is to separate what's being promised from what's actually documented.
We research every ingredient individually
We analyze each ingredient based on the published research about it — not simply on what the label promises. If a formula is presented as support for a particular area, we check what the ingredients have actually been studied for in relation to that function. We also consider the type of evidence available and its limitations. The ingredients help you understand what's behind the formula — but research on individual ingredients doesn't automatically mean the finished product will produce the same results.
We compare doses against research thresholds
When the manufacturer discloses individual amounts, we compare those doses to the quantities used in relevant studies. When a formula uses a proprietary blend and doesn't disclose individual amounts, we note that limitation. Without knowing the quantity of each ingredient, it becomes more difficult to evaluate how the formula compares to the doses used in research.
We verify the guarantee and return policy
A money-back guarantee may seem straightforward, but the details matter. We check the guarantee period, whether opened products are eligible, how the return process works, and what conditions appear in the offer terms. When any information is unclear, we note it in the review so you know exactly what's being offered before you buy.
We check for brand confusion and offer discrepancies
Some supplements appear on different websites, domains, or sales pages. When this happens, we check whether the information, the formula, and the offer correspond to the same product. We also look for signs that may indicate unofficial pages, inconsistent information, or potential confusion between offers. When we find something that deserves attention, we explain what we verified and what the buyer should look for before placing an order.
We write the review based on what we found — not just what sells
This site uses affiliate links. If you buy a product through one of these links, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. That doesn't mean every product will receive a positive review. We present what we found in the formula, what the research shows, what limitations we identified, and what conditions are part of the offer. A useful review doesn't need to say a product is perfect. It needs to show enough information so you can understand what you're buying and decide whether it makes sense for you.
What we don't do
We don't test products in a lab and we don't conduct our own clinical trials. We're also not doctors or nutritionists, and our reviews don't replace medical advice. What we do is analyze the available information — published studies, labels, manufacturer claims, doses, policies, and offer conditions — and turn that material into a clear explanation. When the evidence is limited, we say so. When information can't be confirmed, we make that clear too.
